Kidney transplantation and pregnancy

Abstract:
The worldwide prevalence of chronic kidney disease is on the rise. Due to an increasing number of women with chronic kidney disease, and an increase in the number of pregnant women with varying degrees of renal impairment is expected. Even mild renal impairment increases the risk of a negative pregnancy outcome for mother and child. There is a two-way relationship between the chronic kidney disease and pregnancy.
