Regeneration of soft and bone tissue using PRGF Endoret technology
PRGF (Plasma Rich in Growth Factors) is the most advanced autologous and biocompatible technological system that allows for the obtaining of plasma rich in growth factors from a patient’s own blood. It is based on the activation of patient’s platelets in order to stimulate rapid healing and regeneration of the tissue. Endogenous proteins influence the process of tissue regeneration, stimulating angiogenesis, chemotaxis and cell proliferation. The result is accelerated healing of soft and hard tissues, absence of infection and postoperative pain. A case is presented where post-extraction alveoli were treated with PRGF Endoret technology after the removal of periapical lesions. The plasma rich in growth factors stimulates rapid regeneration of soft and bone tissue after extraction allowing for immediate implant placement.
