Abstract:

Ultrasound is a simple, non-invasive, painless and financially favorable diagnostic method. Although it is a widespread method used in medicine, the ultrasound is not significant for the diagnosis and treatment in dentistry. However, recent studies have confirmed the ability of applying ultrasounds in different areas of dentistry. With the development and advancement in technology, ultrasound methods are being increasingly used and hold a significant place in the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions and diseases of the orofacial system.
