Abstract:

Lung cancer, one of the most common forms of cancer, is a group of neoplasms with the highest incidence and mortality characterized by association with smoking, late detection and relatively limited treatment options. However, through the progression of new therapeutic possibilities, the average survival rate of patients is ever-increasing. Accordingly, the pathohistological classification and the TNM grade of lung cancer have also changed, defining the patient groups more precisely for better treatment planning.
