preegzistentne kronične bolesti jetre; primarni bilijarni kolangitis; primarni sklerozirajući kolangitis; autoimunosni hepatitis; Wilsonova bolest

Pre-existing chronic liver diseases in pregnancy include cholestatic liver disease (primary billiary cholangitis, PBC), primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), autoimmune hepatitis (AIH), Wilson’s disease and chronic viral hepatitis along with liver cirrhosis of any etiology and portal hypertension. Due to the variable clinical course of autoimmune, cholestatic or metabolic liver diseases and pregnancy, as well as the fact that this field is still insufficiently defined, a particular attention is needed. The course of liver disease primarily depends on the stage of the liver disease at the time of conception, and whether the pregnancy has been planned by an interdisciplinary approach of gastroenterologists and gynecologists.

Key words:
pre-existing chronic liver disease; primary billiary cholangitis; primary sclerosing cholangitis; autoimmune hepatitis; Wilson’s disease
